Overview has recently been visited twice, ‘virtually’ by the accreditation supplier BSI (British Standards Institute) to carry out re-certification audits against the ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 International Standards for Quality and Environmental Management – and it was successful in both.
The audits checked that Overview’s Business Management System (BMS) continues to meet the requirements of both these International Standards, and that the procedures within the BMS are being properly followed throughout the business. These re-certification audits are conducted once every three years, with two surveillance audits annually for each International Standard over the next three years.
As these audits are carried out over one day, sample checks were selected by the Auditor rather than reviewing 100% of every process in the BMS. Based on these checks, BSI confirmed that Overview retains both ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 certifications.
Paul Taylor, Quality Manager at Overview, said: “We are thrilled that as a result of these audits, Overview is being recommended for re-certification to both standards. It is important to us because it is a requirement of our key customers that we possess these certifications, but also because it demonstrates that we are continually improving as an organisation. Thank you to all those who were involved with these successful audits.”
