The Duo, an evolution of Overview’s Hydra Uno PTZ, will be a major focus on their stand C700 at this year’s IFSEC International show, which is being held on 20 & 22 June at Excel London.
Based on the high-performance mechatronics used in its Uno sibling, Duo adds another world class variant to the Hydra range. The product offers a two camera system typically combining a visual camera with a thermal imaging core.
Aimed at the ruggedised, external PTZ market, Hydra combines aesthetic design with high reliability direct-drive that delivers class-leading, ultra-smooth and precise pan, tilt and zoom control.
The Hydra Uno ruggedised PTZ camera platform has been very well received in the video surveillance market. The company has also developed new markets for the Hydra pan-assembly in the broadcast TV and defence sectors.
The Hydra range includes SD and HD IP variants, with optional intelligent LED illuminator with both IR and white lights.
Overview will also be showing the continuous evolution and the expansion of the highly successful iBLDC intelligent drive range, including new motors aimed at engineering and commercial applications requiring precision positioning.
Overview delivers differentiating OEM/ODM solutions for world class security solution providers. The company is currently developing next generation autonomous solutions by combining high performance PTZ cameras and advanced software solutions with a range of third party sensors from tier one manufacturers in their field of expertise.
David Jackson, Overview’s Head of R&D stated, “We are very excited about the release of the ground-breaking Hydra Duo product family with its highly flexible range of visual and thermal cameras.”
